- Mental ‘time out’ tools to trigger more effective thinking.
Day 2, Week 2
Cognitive strategies – Right brain/left brain processes and how to develop more of the mind for problem solving, creativity, interpersonal effectiveness and memory
- Self-efficacy, confidence and achievement
- The specialized brain. Roger Sperry’s Nobel prize winning work and its repercussions in creative and technical environments
- How to use more of the mind and use it more effectively
- Tools for taking control of thought patterns
- Building on Strengths – Develop tools and strategies to build on your strengths and minimize your weaknesses.
- Controlling the internal response to external factors (eg. Stress, bullying, blame proneness)
- Mental rehearsal and visualization as work performance strategies. Developing the tools of mental athletes

Day 3, Week 3

- Tools for improving communication in whole brain teams.
- Reducing conflict and facilitating communication between different thinking styles
Day 4, Week 4
Brain food. Personal goal setting and achievement. Aligning long-term vision with current reality
- How food impacts on mental effectiveness.
- Self directed behaviour. – Taking control
- Intuition – What it is and how to harness this elusive thinking process
- How to feel motivated from within. Discovering your inner driver and deeper personal values.
- Leadership from within – How to stay aligned with your own values and strengths. Discover the leadership style that suits you and your organization.
- Build leadership skills by understanding how to tap your deepest motivations
- Visionary thinking – how to set and achieve visionary goals.
